A new treasury and a sock monkey
Twice in two weeks! Etsy is becoming more exciting every day… The treasury expired yesterday and I totally forgot to post it here, but here´s a screenshot it was Lupitita, a teeny tiny Virgen de Guadalupe cellphone thingie…
My first treasury!!!
I freaked out for a second, then calmed down a bit… :-p and started looking for a way to create a print screen of the page, because I did want proof of it for posterity :-p ) :

ETA. Oh, in case you were wondering what I used to make the print screen you can go to Thumbalizr, I found no way to get the part of the screen the monitor wasn’t showing just clicking print screen in my keyboard, so I did a bit of research and it worked great… Just in case you ever need it…

I finally accepted the challenge and opened my Etsy Store. ( http://sphinxy.etsy.com) It took a very pushy (yet adorable) girl at Ravelry asking if I sold my jewelry somewhere… It’s on very early stages and only has a few things up (because fixing photos is sooooooo stressful!) but I made a huge batch last week.They are not up yet, I kept waiting for a nice day to take the photos outdoors but that never happened! So I took them indoors with very very bad lighting and getting them ready is taking forever! That’s why I haven’t made this post. But since the widget is already on my sidebar I figured it was the right thing to do…
Go take a look and let me know what you think… there’s a lot of work to be done and I’ll love to hear what you have to say…
And to make it more interesting… what about a tiny giveaway? Check out the store and leave a comment on this post before October 12th and I’ll randomly pick one of you and send something that will be describe on a later post… something nice… I don’t say what exactly here because I came up with the idea while writting this… probably a set of earrings, bracelet and pendant… come on, you know you wanna! 
School, crafts and more crafts…
We just started the summer term and since it’s supposed to be an intensive term we are having two hour classes, with homework almost everyday and tests and everything! That’s why I’ve gone missing… Also, I’ve been slightly obsessed with the Euro Cup! I love football!!! Specially big tournaments… you know, World cup, Euro, Olympics…
Sadly, Italy got kicked out today, after an amazing match against Spain… Damn Casillas (Spain ’s Goalkeeper)!
Apart from that, I’ve been trying to knit a silly hat, but it has taken far longer than expected… I even made a scarf in far less time than I’ve taken to knit this hat! But I’m determined to finish it…
It’s a pattern based on a hat worn by Renee Zellweger in Bridget Jones, The Edge of Reason (Yes, I love Bridget Jones!!!!! Sooooo me!) It’s so simple, but I’m not sure how it’ll look so I’m not quite excited about it… I just have to sew the top and make some pompoms and I’ll be done, and probably rip it off after that… :-p
The scarf on the other hand came out great! According to my mom is too skinny, but I love it… It’s the first big project I’ve made in crochet and I’m actually proud of it… (I’d put some pics here, but I don’t have any… yet…)
Though I do have pictures of a lovely pair of earrings I made right before writing this post… I found a great video tutorial to make cluster beads (Right Angle Weave Beads) and I just had to give it a try… I made one, and it came out great, so I had to make the other one, to make the pair of earrings…
So, here they are!
I love how they look, and all these years I thought making those things was soooo difficult… I’m thinking on keeping this pair, and making more for the business… and definitively a necklace with larger swarovski crystals….

I am sooo tempted of buying some pretty lace tomorrow and a pretty button… and make one, or a bunch… Damn, I can’t! I need to go to get my tests done, and my wounds cleaned and need to see how the documentary is going… but I will make it! Maybe add some tiny beads here and there to make it look more pretty…
Now I’m off to bed… I just saw the bracelet and wanted to post the tutorials link… it looks sooo feminine… It’s such a nice touch, spending almost nothing and barely doing anything!

In the beginning…
More than an experiment this blog is like indulging a craving; I wanted to create my very own template and I wanted to go back to the blog world, so finally I do both.
I don’t promise a sole subject… because, that’s boring! And I just can’t do just one thing… I hope to see you around often, I’m a restless child (yes, child!), so you never know when I’ll come up with some thing to make you come back.
