Well, one problem… that will, most definitively, unravel in many many more…

And I have millions of ideas for possible blogs that, I think, might actually be more interesting or attractive than The Purple Blug(TPB)… And now I want to develop them all at the same time! :-p

Also, TPB has to change… The sidebar is a major mess! And no matter what I remove it still looks cluttered… And come on! I know the color isn´t the most pleasant to watch for a long time… It worked eight months ago when I was just playing with blogger and photoshop…
I still am, but even I know it needs some freshen up…

Most of the things I´ve done have been a huge trial-and-error thing, as it tends to be with most things I do and I´m pleased with the results so far, but I want to make it in a bigger scale… Probably moving the blog to its own hosting(Or Luis’ in this case), and blogging in a less messy way… actually getting traffic because of relevant things, not just the sponsored post about Virtual Closet, that keeps bringing me lots of visits…

Changes are afoot… Big ones, little ones and new roads will be finally taken… (Uhhhh, I know… deep… :-p)

I love polymer clay, it’s like going back to those days when I made food with mud (oh, come on, we all did it at least once!) or playing with play-doh… but you can actually keep your masterpieces by just baking it for a little while… the possibilities are endless…

Soooooo, since a friend asked me to make her a figure for her brother I immediately started analizing the one she wanted and hoped I could actually make it… I made it, and it came out looking amazingly similar! And from then on I haven’t been able to stop!

I took photos that I´ve been meaning to take for ages… and I finished reading a book (Born On A Blue Day by Daniel Tammet) and started another one (Arráncame la vida by Angeles Masttreta) … and made some polymer clay figures that I had been dying to make…

I´ll upload the photos soon, I still have to sort them and pick the ones I like… And I also have some photos from the Bienal de Artes Visuales… Well, from some activities they did at my school But also need to sort those ones…

And the polyclay figurines, I still need to take pretty photos of it… and I will… once I make a couple more and bake them all… they are great! I´m totally amazed about how they came out…

Yes, I know… promises and more promises… but I´m determined to come out of this really crappy mood I´ve been lately… Also, I think the blog needs a makeover… or something like that… I want to get rid of a lot of junk that I have on the sidebar… and fix the comment system…

For those reading this, thanks for being patient… Must go… Need to watch Desperate Housewives :-p

I think the whole store business exhausted me a little… All the photo taking and the setting the store up was far more difficult that the blog was when I started… specially when I made my first sale… everything seemed to be going out of hand… The whole getting paid and having to deal with revised invoices on remote control was awful… but I haven’t made any more sales soooo everything is at peace at the moment… and, thanks God, my customer was extremely patient and never complained…

ETA. I had to leave for school when I was first writing this… and now when I´m finally publishing this, I checked if it was really post 50 and guess what? It isn´t!!! It´s #48… But since I´m determined to blog more I will not erase it… Even if it´s not quite accurate…
By the way, the giveaway is a bit on hold as it needs to be made more seriously… and not in a rush like the last one… (Sorry Marito… I´ll buy u a Donut to make it up and let you know when I finally do it for real)

This is going to be a crappy post because it’s late and I need to go to bed… Just wanted to let you know that a story I wrote got published on a local newspaper!

They are not up yet, I kept waiting for a nice day to take the photos outdoors but that never happened! So I took them indoors with very very bad lighting and getting them ready is taking forever! That’s why I haven’t made this post. But since the widget is already on my sidebar I figured it was the right thing to do…
