I have like million things in my head at the moment, and seriously Mr Zelaya and his circus was not one of them… but I finally got the chance to read the Time’s article that everyone has been talking about…
I feel offended by it… It’s not the magazine’s fault… It’s the false patriotism of this So-Called-Hondurans, who think that to “defend” the country is to lie shameslessly in front of the whole world. They are cowards!
I wonder if they have forgotten that their families are still here, their friends… Do they honestly believe that putting Zelaya back in office will inmediately fix the damage that they do with their speeches and their actions?
“It’s a matter of recuperating our international image, and I think that can happen overnight — just the same way we moved from positive to negative, we can jump from negative to positive”
Ricardo Martínez, former tourism minister
I seriously doubt of Mr. Zelaya’s magical powers and if he actually got back in office, I can assure you he would regret the damage that they have done to our country…
This is not like the Matrix and Mel is not our blue pill… There is no going back to the Honduras we had. We have been transformed, Hondurans are not the same. We actually have opinions, either pro or against the Constitutional sucession/ Coup d’ Etat (Or whatever it is you call it…)
Can he handle the fact that Hondurans are now less ignorant and indiferent?
