Weekend at the Theater…

I went to see the Vagina Monologues on saturday at the university’s theater, it was amazing!

I’ve been hearing about it for quite a long time, mostly on Mexican television, but since I can’t go to Mexico to watch it

I had to get the audio book, because it was the closer I could get… I wanted so badly to know what was all the fuzz. And well, I loved it! I really like all the different points of view and the way they are told.

My domain is finally up and running as you may have noticed It took a while for the domain to be ready, but once I got the confirmation mail setting it up was soooo easy…

So now I plan to start working on a few new things, but slowly… I’ll keep you up to date as I work on them… Maybe a little surprise in the next few days (cause I’ve always wanted to do it and to attract some traffic ).

**Ok, the it’s not working entirely well yet… if you type thepurpleblug.com you will get a parked page, but i’m working on it…**

So, after quite extensive work I finished my entry for the contest… the script actually took longer than expected… but I’m really proud of what I made… I met with the person I had to give it to, and everything was ready, until today when I got a call to tell me that my cd didn’t work!

New Phone…

I must confess that I’ve been lazy… ok, not so much, I was a tiny bit busy on Saturday, and I wasn’t home yesterday night… so, no blogging… Soooo, here’s post eleven! (yes, eleven posts in 15 days… not so bad if you ask me)…

There isn’t much to tell, I’ve had a very uneventful couple of days and the only interesting thing that happened was that I got my new phone! I killed my Motorola Razr V3 by accidentally dropping it into the toilet… Read the rest

On bears and school…

As I said a couple of posts ago, I had to make another amigurumi teddy for my grandma…. I started it yesterday, and finished it a couple of hours ago… I think it looks better than the first one, actually I’m far more pleased with it! It’s pink and has a bigger head (that’s the only bad thing…), and I got some brown thread today to make a more decent nose… It really is adorable…

Slow day……

What a long and boring day! Part of me is happy to go back to class tomorrow! Maybe the fact that I will have the car helps a bit…Now, those two statements do require some explanation…

First, why I haven’t been going to school the last week…

I study in the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras (UNAH) … where anything can happen (yes, I am being sarcastic :-p). The university is run by the government and as you can imagine that always means trouble, mostly unsatisfied workers and students.
